About Me

I am an Assistant Professor of Management at Drexel University in Philadelphia. My research focuses on understanding the conditions that foster or inhibit mental, physical and relational well-being at work. I use both qualitative and quantitative methods to explore how employees take interpersonal risks to nurture relationships and advocate for their own well-being across a variety of complex experiences such as medical leave, women's health (maternity and menopause), trauma (past and present), anxiety, and autism spectrum condition.

My work has been published in management outlets such as the Academy of Management Journal, Organizational Psychology Review, and Harvard Business Review, and I am an active member of the Compassion Lab and Positive Relationships at Work micro-communities.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends throughout the Northeastern US, making banana bread, and using OB theories to analyze contestant behavior on Survivor.
